SEPTEMBER 22, 2013- HALIFAX, MA – Despite a somewhat shaky weather forecast five intrepid New England combat flyers assembled, at the Wingbuster club field, for some F2D action. The rain, which was not scheduled to clear until after noontime, was over by about 9:00 am and we had a great day for some F2D combat. With two rounds complete one pilot had already been sent home with two losses. Greg Wornell was at 2-0 while three other pilots were sitting at 1-1. In round three Paul Kubek and Chris Sarnowski suffered their second losses in matches with Greg and Neil Simpson respectively. In the finals Greg and Neil faced off with Neil having to win twice. Neil, with a great deal of help from the combat gods, was able to do just that taking home the contest win in the process. In a fly-off for third place Chris got past Paul to take the final trophy spot.
