JULY 17, 2011- MIDDLEBORO, MA – The weather was appropriately hot for the running of the Wingbuster Summer Sizzler. The turnout was only five contestants so the event was flown in a round robin format each contestant flying the other four once each. When those matches were completed the combat gods had allowed Neil Simpson to go undefeated capturing the contest win in the process. The three way fly off to break a second place tie resulted in some very exciting action filled matches between Mark Rudner and Greg Wornell and later between Mark and Brian Stas. Great flying by all three pilots. When the dust settled Brian was second, Mark third and Greg fourth.
