The Wingbuster Shootout
for F2D Combat

MARK RUDNER, BRIAN STAS
& GREG WORNELL
TAKE THE TROPHY SPOTS

OCTOBER 25, 2009-MIDDLEBORO, MA-The temperatures were warm, the sky was clear, the sun bright. It was a beautiful, seasonably warm late fall day in New England. The Wingbuster Club Field, in Middleboro,  Massachusetts, was the location.

At the end of two rounds Mark Rudner had two wins, one pilot had been sent home while Brian Stas, Jeff Vader, Greg Wornell and Neil Simpson each had a win and a loss. In round three, Jeff, Neil and Greg each suffered their second losses. This left them in a three way tie for third and in the fly-off  Greg prevailed to take home the third place trophy. Meanwhile, only Mark and Brian were alive, although Brian had one loss with Mark remaining undefeated.  In the final Mark prevailed, although both pilots flew very well. Lots of good matches all day long. A late day match between Brian and Jeff  was particularly exciting and well flown.
