2014 F2D Icebreaker
ALEX PROKOFIEV, MARK RUDNER
AND BRIAN STAS ARE THE TOP THREE
April 12, 2014 - WRENTHAM, MA – The weather was sunny, some wind and quite pleasant for this year’s season opener. This year, the Icebreaker featured F2D Combat. There were seven pilots in attendance ready to kick off the new season.
After three rounds three pilots had been sent packing. Alex Prokofiev and Mark Rudner were undefeated while Brian Stas and Neil Simpson had one loss apiece. Brian and Neil faced off in a well flown match, two cuts apiece with Brian winning on airtime. In the next round Brian stayed hot giving Mark his first loss. Brian then faced off against Alex with Alex prevailing. This left only Mark to face Alex in the finals with Alex earning the match and the contest win.
